Many say its ego, or to be special, but factually there are many reasons. The most import is that dogs breed in the outside of the FCI and ADRK have very little regulation, although my personal kennel vom Zauberberg meets these standards I would argue that less than 1% of dogs born outside the FCI are breed within the regulation. So in Germany for example each litter produced has a parents with a hip rating, most likely they also have working title. In addition these dogs with be evaluated ZTP and Korung. All activities are recorded in the Zucht Kor und Leistungsbuch for Germany. Other clubs have a similar record mechanism. Fact is there is little to match this outside of Europe.

Currently Serbia and Croatia are breeding some very reliable show dogs, the Netherlands and of course my homeland Germany. I would try to decide what type of dog is actually available, otherwise the wait could be very long.

Well this is very subjective, many Rottweiler lines have many good things to offer, as well there are lines to avoid. I can help you navigate these murky waters.  And many times the lines are not as important as the dog in hand.
